How do we draw the winners of the raffle?

It is up to the raffle organiser to conduct the draw on the day and at the time advertised on the raffle website. 

The draw does not happen automatically.

The raffle organiser has two options with respect to conducting the draw.

Option 1 — Digital Draw through RaffleTix

To draw your raffle, the raffle status must be Closed.

1. Log in to RaffleTix, navigate to the Raffle, and click the link to the Draw raffle page
2. Click the Draw Winners button
3. Follow the prompts to draw the winner of each prize

Option 2 — Manual Draw (Barrel Draw)

In some circumstances, it still makes sense to conduct a manual draw, particularly for major raffles where there is an opportunity to create some entertainment and social media content around the draw. 

In such cases, it is possible to download the list of valid ticket numbers as a CSV file from the Raffle Admin dashboard. You can then use the CSV file as a data source to print numbered ticket stubs that you can enter into barrel.

Important: When conducting a manual draw, you must draw the prizes in the order required by the relevant States and Territories, and as listed on the website, the terms and conditions, and the permit (as applicable).
