Yes, you can do in-person sales (and have the Buyer pay by cash, card via RaffleTix, or card via external POS). Your volunteers can conduct the transactions via their own computer, tablet, or mobile device.
If you want your volunteers to conduct in-person sales, you must first invite them to become Sellers.
When a Seller logs in via their mobile device, they will be taken straight to the in-person sales page.
The Seller can then walk around the crowd conducting transactions, with the Buyer electing to pay by:
- Cash
- Card via RaffleTix, or
- Card via external POS.
The Buyer will receive an instant confirmation by SMS, as well as an email confirmation (if the Buyer provides an email address). Note: for in-person sales, it is not compulsory to record the Buyer's email address.
All transactions will be logged against the Seller. This means you will know exactly how many tickets each Seller has sold and how much money they have collected (in the case of cash sales).
The Seller will also have a QR code on the in-person sales page. Buyers can scan the QR Code, which will take the Buyer to the raffle website, where they can purchase tickets on their own device.
