Yes, it is possible to sell paper tickets in addition to selling tickets via the RaffleTix platform.
Selling paper tickets in addition to conducting sales through RaffleTix will create logistical issues for you.
For example, to pick the winners, you will need to conduct a barrel draw and have paper tickets that correspond to the ticket numbers that were sold online.
Hence, we encourage you to use the capabilities built into the RaffleTix platform in preference to selling paper tickets. For example:
- For in-person transactions (e.g. at shopping centres or events), your volunteers can use their mobile phones or tablets to sell tickets via the In-Person Sales function. For detailed instructions on conducting in-person transactions, see the Selling Tickets In-Person Guide.
- Download the raffle QR Code and place it on a poster or a flyer and have people serve themselves online.
NOTE: RaffleTix can start your online ticket numbering at a designated number. Thereafter, all tickets sold through the RaffleTix platform (in-person or online) will be numbered sequentially.
